“Better Than Restaurant” Salsa
Take turns dipping dipitas Seven Grains and Seeds into this easy to make homemade salsa that tastes so fresh and authentic. You can add a personal touch to it by mixing in your favourite salsa ingredients, such as black beans or corn.
Ingredients
1 cup canned diced tomatoes, juices drained
1 cup canned fire roasted diced tomatoes, juices drained
2 Tbsp ketchup
½ white onion, roughly chopped
1 clove garlic
½ jalapeño, seeds and ribs removed
Pinch of sugar
¼ tsp cumin
¼ tsp salt
1/3 cup fresh cilantro leaves
Juice from ½ lime
Instructions
- Add the onion, garlic and jalapeño to a food processor and pulse a few times
- Add the remaining salsa ingredients to the food processor and pulse until salsa reaches your desired consistency
