"Better Than Restaurant" Salsa

“Better Than Restaurant” Salsa

Take turns dipping dipitas Seven Grains and Seeds into this easy to make homemade salsa that tastes so fresh and authentic. You can add a personal touch to it by mixing in your favourite salsa ingredients, such as black beans or corn.

Ingredients

1 cup canned diced tomatoes, juices drained

1 cup canned fire roasted diced tomatoes, juices drained

2 Tbsp ketchup

½ white onion, roughly chopped

1 clove garlic

½ jalapeño, seeds and ribs removed

Pinch of sugar

¼ tsp cumin

¼ tsp salt

1/3 cup fresh cilantro leaves

Juice from ½ lime

Instructions

  1. Add the onion, garlic and jalapeño to a food processor and pulse a few times
  2. Add the remaining salsa ingredients to the food processor and pulse until salsa reaches your desired consistency
